Building Plaques
The Larkin Building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright as a Company Administration Building for Larkin Soap Company and built in 1906 in Buffalo, New York. This five story brick building with steel frame construction was one of the great buildings of American architectural history. Unfortunately, Frank Lloyd Wright's Larkin building was demolished in 1950 to be replaced by a parking area.
Frank Lloyd Wright designed a cathedral-like building with a light court located in the center of the building which provided natural sunlight to all of the floors. Plaques with sets of three inspirational words were designed between the support piers of the light court. Buzaar brings you five of these plaques that are authorized for reproduction by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
